Our "Send Home" feature lets you inform the family that a patient is ready to be discharged and picked up from the hospital. This feature helps increase efficiency and patient throughput. To do this, click the button titled "Send Home" near the top of your screen.
Upon clicking the button, a pop-up will display asking you to enter the time at which the family should be at the hospital to pick up their loved one.
When you enter a date and time, click "Send Time" to confirm. You will then see a new message in the conversation with the family, communicating this discharge time.
