As soon as patients are discharged, they should be discharged on Familyfirst as well. This is important as it keeps the active patient list as concise and manageable as possible at all times.
Follow the steps outlined below to discharge a patient:
- Find your patient in the list on the left side of the page.
- After that, find "Unenroll Patient" on the top right of the page.
- Once you've clicked "Unenroll Patient", a popup like this will appear:
- If you wish to discharge the patient, click "yes".
The patient is now discharged. You will no longer see this conversation on Familyfirst, and the family members will see that the conversation has been ended by medical staff.
